long time never post, dunnoe wad to post. yay 2morow 1st of march already. 2morow morning our physio gym got some volunteers to do some activities for the resident's. they will be doing games and we just help them. they coming about 9-10am i think. use our morning exercise time do all these things, lame. we must come to work as normal at 8am. today nothing must to post,
went to work as usual, blah blah blah, then i greet my work collegues and the sister there.
punch my work card on the time machine @ 7.50am.
waiting for them to finish their drink then we can go to the gym to open the door for the resident's.
reached the physio gym, bring out all the wheelchairs, long table, table soccer and the whiteboard. on all the lights and the aircon to make the place cool for them to use.
then bro monteiro came in at 7.58am. every morning he has to help us take water and juice for the resident's for them to drink. after he take the water and jug, he put the water jug on the table. then we start to push the resident's for their exercise.
finished our morning exercise with the resident's at 10.50am. we tidy up the place then we rest a while.
Sr Elizabeth law want to do her walking using the roller frame back to her room so my work collegue ginell walk with her but she push her wheelchair back to her room. when my work collegue came back after sending sister eliz law back to her room which is located at the hospice area. then she took some bisquits from the container to eat because she was hungry. then me, ginell and bro monteiro wait for Catherine at the staff louge.
then she came and i had my cereal drink and i sat on the armchair that can go down. both my work collegues started to talk to each other in their language. their dialect is Tagalog.
both of them asked me : '' do u wan to go to Bontanic Garden this sun.'' i said: '' ok. then ginell my work collegue asked me :'' i bring u to my country but u must save $$$. i replied : '' iam still saving some $$$.'' after our break we went for our beside exercise, after that we went for lunch. after lunch i went back to the gym to take a nap.
in the afternoon, we had our english flim show and chinese newspaper reading for them.
after all finished, tidy up the place and we start to write reports until 4.45pm. i went home @ 5.20pm coz i wait for Catherine to take bus. i forgot to help my work collegue to bring in all the chair and the table soccer.

Cigarette Machine
first time i see machine selling cigarettes.
but i don't smoke ok although i stand beside this machine.
Chinggay in the north
This is the 1st time my house downstairs got chinggay. got food and entertainment. many people went downstairs very early to get a better view of the floats. policeman driving their motorbikes guiding the floats along the way. they use the main roads to pass by us. so we waved to every floats that came. they got people inside and the floats very bright, colourful and got music also.
i try to video it but a bit shaky.
the float started at 7.15pm. very fast finish. so came home after watching the floats. they drove from my house to yishun that will be their last pit stop. suppose to end at 10.30pm but it ended early.
Had fried rice with chicken, my mother brought back the food from her fren house, they ate dinner there. after dinner, i had 2 different types of dessert. one is durian puff and the other is green bean soup with sweet potatoes.
now posting new post on my blog. after i blog i goin to rest early so that 2morow can go to work early.

Young Magician
Reached ny workplace at 7.40am then my other work collegue went to the staff lounge near the workshop to have her breakfast. my work collegue name Catherine asked me '' why are u so early .'' i replied '' wake up early lor.''. my work collegue name Catherine
opened the physio gym today, we push those resident's we need every saturday morning. abt 9am aunty lucy need to use our ot room for her reality class. she will talk about communication to her reality class resident's. so we have to do the exercise for the resident's at the physio gym.
after we push the resident's back at 10.25am, we tidy up the place and we start to wash the OT Things after washing and drying up the things. aunty lucy bought for us fried beehoon and i had kway keow. because i don't like beehoon. we had our beehoon and bro julio also had beehoon because aunty lucy also bought for him. the volunteer from anything& wadever came and see them eat beehoon with bread. then he asked my work collegue name ginell: '' why your like to put the beehoon into the bread ? she replied :'' phillipine style she said:'' then he also said :'' eat the bread alone taste nice then put the beehoon inside. then we all joke with each other.
we had early lunch at about 11.30am so later no need to eat. then ginell my work collegue ask me '' do u wan orange .'' i replied: no thanks. then i went to the volunteer name uncle james gave me some oranges and i pass 1 orange to catherine and the other orange i give to ginell. i give them coz i dun like.
after our lunch, we rest early coz is only 12pm. i went back to the gym and take a short nap until 1.10pm. after our lunch break which ends at 1.30pm, then we need to push the resident's frm their dining place to the physio gym coz got one little boy do magic performance. he is only 10 years old. the boy study in St Peter School.
the magic show started at 2.30pm to 3pm. he show us a lot of magic tricks coz he love to watch magic shows from tv. he show us one magic trick that is he will show u one cloth , he will asked u to check the cloth to check for holes and u have to put the cloth inside the bag and he will shake the bag and when you take out the cloth is a different colour cloth. we all enjoyed the performance by him although he is a bit shy his mother told him he need to expose more and communicate more with outside people.
after the performance we continued our eng newspaper reading by ginell, me and bro julio. not english speaking resident. they watch chinese opera. we ended the afternoon activity @ 3.40pm we tidy up the place again and i left my workplace 4.40pm.

Really Bad Day
Went to work as usual. when i reached my workplace i saw my watch it shows 7.58am. when i was walking to the resident's dining area to punch my workcard on the time machine. the time machine so fast put the time 8am. i walk a bit faster but still cannot punch my work card be4 8 on the time machine. really bad day today. had our usual ADL ( Activities of daily living) training with our resident's. finished everything, my work collegue drop the small container inside containing colourful beads on the flood have to use the broom and the dustpan. after i put back the broom and the dustpan, i off the lights in the physio gym and the ot room. after i off the lights i went for my break.
reached the staff lounge for my break, i saw the table got no food so went to the kitchen to get some food to eat. after our break we had our bedside exercise with our resident's. after our bedside exercise we went for lunch.
after lunch, went back to physio gym to rest for 1hr. my other work collegue went back to their own room to rest. our breaktime after lunch is from 12.30pm to l.30pm. all my work collegues went to the chapel for their choir practice after their choir practice. came back to the gym. we all help to take down the CNY Decor.
by the time we take down all the decor is already 2pm, time to pick the resident's for their afternoon activity. we start to pick them and all the resident's for the chinese newspaper reading already came. and for the eng resident's watching the english flim show only 3 + myself= 4 only so pathectic. all went for prayer one of the halls there.
we tidy up the physio gym and they have written all the reports. we must thank bro julio for helping us to push the resident's back to their dining place for their meals, attend bedside exercise, sweep and mop the physio gym with us and help us keep the files into the drawer.
my 2 work collegues doin work after working hours. they finding pictures of folding hands. maybe this week is lent. i punched out my work card at 5.15pm. hope 2morow will be a better day for me. good nite and god bless

Singapore is the best
Singapore won the bid by hosting the youth olympics in 2010. We are so honoured and proud to be a singaporean. we have so many sports talent here can win the youth olympic. now some of the youths here are very good in their favourite sport. i also love sports but i can only see people play the game. now singapore is also going to host F1 race ( formula one) with drivers from other country maybe. is very ex to watch these F1, now they want to have these race at night.
i was so happy that they won the bid after my father pass me the good news yesterday nite.

BUS 174
Bus Service 174. i took the new bus. the bus inside looks very big and spacious. volvo is the brand they used for the bus. aircon very nice and when i stand inside the bus i looked so shory. wheehchairs also can go inside the bus. the bus goes all the way to orchard.if you take this bus at night, the bus no they show very bright. the lights of the bus no very clear.
they should change all the buses to these typed. old bus not nice to sit. try this new bus if you have the time. the bus reached my destination very fast. they go by expressway. 10 mins u reach yr destinations.

Old Physio work collegue
after so long, i received one email from my old physio work collegue name elizabeth. she becamea nun. we talk on yahoo chat. she told me she miss everybody here in the home.i really miss her a lot. she is on home leave for 1month then she will go back to the convent.
she taught me so many things. when i first work there, she show n teach me about how to do for the resident's their exercise like standing in front of the big mirror and walking along the parrell bar and many more. when i first work there, i remember i was very playful but now different.
is serious work.
she will ask me about how is the resident's there and the staff. she will ask how is physio ? she is a great work collegue always care for you.

when you see your friends smile at you, or talk to you. it brightens up your day.

Boring Tuesday
2day is a boring tuesday because no bingo game for the resident's
but got mahjong game for the usual resident's.
NJC Interact Club came to perform songs for them. they suppose to come at 3pm but came at 3.25pm. so we went back to the physio room to write reports. my work collegue went for medical checkup near their workplace, she left at 1.40pm and she told my other work fren name ginell. if she is late, then close up the physio gym. we write the resident's report halfway and we went to watch the students perform at the stage there where some resident's need to be fed for their meals. i was at the resident's dining area until 4pm to wait for the mahjong people to finish their game.
My work collegue asked me to give them some tibits after they finish playing.
bro julio help to fold up the mahjong table i keep the mahjong tiles. so we push the things back to the physio gym and he went back to help the 1st feeding resident's with their meals.
I stay in the physio gym until 4.59pm. i talk to her because no one was there yet only us. we both still writing reports. when i want to leave the physio gym, she said :'' Goodbye.'' see you 2morow at work.
after i punched my card on the machine i went to change into my outing clothes. i was walking out of the home. i looked up into the 3rd storey and saw my nurse aid fren called me. i walk back to the home and i secretly take the stairs go up leading me to the 3rd floor staff dormintry. actually we singaporeans not suppose to go up.
My fren Cecelia called me and we went down to the 1st floor we talk along the way down.
My the other work collegue saw me n my fren and she asked me '' why i haven go home yet .'' i replied:'' she called me.'' she said ok.
i asked Cecelia :'' are you off or on duty .'' she replied :'' night duty.''
said goodbye to them.
went home at 5.50pm. bought my own dinner and i reached home @ 6.45pm.

Wonderful Monday
Most People don't like to work on monday because after sunday people want to rest. went to work as usual, greet my work collegues'' gd morning.'' need to punch in my work card on the time machine. after punched in. i start to push one of the resident's going for their morning exercise. Catherine the occupational thereapist opened the physio gym 2day.
One of the brother nam Julio came to the physio gym today, to show him the diference between Pt ( Physiotherapy) and OT ( Occupational Therapy). then she introduce my name, the physiotherapist is ginell.
today is monday, we have to take the towels, pillow case cover and many more. we also need to get water and juice for the resident's if they want to drink,
so catherine asked me to show bro julio where to get water and juice for them. we took one wheelchair and we put the water jug on the wheelchair. while we are walking to the resident's dining hall to get water. i pushed one of the resident's goin for her breakfast.
i taught him how to get water and juice. if u get juice or water , the water must be warm not too hot or else they cannot drink.
Brother helped us to push the resident's back to their dining hall.
After the morning exercise, we clean and tidy up the place to make it neat again.
we had our break at the staff dining lounge. i had bread with jam and a warm cereal drink. after our break we need to go n do bedside rounds for those residen'ts never come out and do their exercise. after beside exercise, we went for lunch. today lunch not so nice but okay.
after lunch, i went back to the physio gym to rest a while until 1.30pm.
we need to get our things for the exercise outside. i now facilitate ourside because my old work collegue name russell has went back to her country and i now take charge outside.
cool right, lol.
In the afternoon we had our psychomotoric exercise. my other 2 work collegues contine their usual exercise for their specific resident's. Brother told us they don't have meeting so he can help me to do with them those resident's need verbal cues to do their exercise. we have 17 resident's to take. i taught him how to say '' good afternoon'' to all the resident's.
i alos taught him what are the exercise todo for them later. like ring transfer, ball transfer from one basket to another ,passing the ball and so on. we started at 2.30pm, we ended at 3.25pm so that we can push the resient's back for their meals.
after pushing the resident's back, we pack up all the things we bring for them to do their exercise. we went back to the physio gym to tidy up again. i helped them wash the toilet, push in the wheelchairs, lock the physio room the walking area the door and write reports.
my work collegue taught me how to write report with her guidance and now i know how to write already.
I finish work with them @ 5.10pm and we punched our work card. we all helped each other to punch actually cannot but we still help to punch. my the other work collegue still checking her old and new wheelchairs whether some got put the resident's name on their wheelchair.
i went home at 5.25pm.

Mahjong Game
after church, i went home to blog and i took my clothes to go there and shower.
reached my grandmother house at 1.20pm and we played mahjong until 5pm.
my luck 2day not good 2day coz no consultant until the 3 and last round of the game.
After the mahjong game, i went to shower. after i shower finish, continued the game.
dinner we had lo hei again. how many times must eat this raw fish or yu sheng again ?
i only ate the carrots and the bisquit.
had dinner there, chit chat for a while then we straight home after their house.
goin to sleep early , need to wake up early

Sentosa Trip
yesterday went out early at 6.25am. i need to meet my work collegues at boonlay mrt at 7am. i reached there at 6.45am, my father sent me to the mrt and he went home. aunty lucy who also work in the physio came, then we wait for my other 2 frens to come. aunty lucy bought noodles and beehoon for us
they suppose to be at Boonlay mrt by 7am and they came late by 5mins. one of my work collegue went to the passenger service to meet us because my the other work collegue want to buy drinks and food to bring there. so we walk to the bus interchange where people sell food and drinks. got many stalls there. after we met her, she bought the drinks and food. afte buying we walk to the mrt to tap our mrt card on the machine and we took the escalator goin up to the train.
the train came and we went in to find a seat. got so many people but i finally found myself a seat and i sat down. my work collegue name Catherine and aunty lucy found a seat to seat down. one of my work collegue name ginell sat near the train window, the passenger seating beside her left the seat because he is getting off. he reached his destination. ginell called me to sit beside her. we sat all the way to outram to change train. reached outram mrt and we walked the train underground tunell tat lead us to harbourfront mrt. we took the escalator down and we wait for the train. reached harbourfront or Vivo City and we took the escalator to level 3 to get to sentosa.
we bought the monorail ticket and we tap the train ticket and we go in to wait for the monorail.
we alight at Imbiah Station , tap our train ticket on the machine. we saw many beautiful flowers there and we started taking pictures. along the way we took more pictures and we also took pictures with a lady walking on long sticks. one of the man also walking on long sticks , we took pixs of him also.
there got beautiful flowers behind n got one seesaw near the flowers we took pixs.
along the way we saw many other beautiful flowers we took pixs also. then my fren took pixs of a turtle behind her. after taking the pixs she was walking up the step. got one wooden plank poke ger leg and got blood. the blood still flowing luckily she bring the alcohol rub. she clean it and we let her rest a while. after rest a while we asked one of the staff there got any first aid, she bring us to images of singapore inside, she asked her the other work collegue got any first aid. so my work collegue went in with the staff to clean her wound n they put bandage for her leg.
after they put for her the bandage, we wait for outside, outside got one umbrella and got some chairs so we wait for her there. Catherine asked me whether ginell come out already, then she saw her asked me to show her the way that we are waiting. we sat under the umbrella n got many chairs, so we eat our food there. i had dried noodles with egg.
we ate finished and we drink water to wash down the food from our throat so that our throat won't be so dry. we walked to the other side of sentosa, we are goin to Underwater world. so we took the Blue line Bus to Underwater world. reached there, they bought the tickets and we went in. the ticket for the underwater world is $19.90 x4.
before the show, the staff there ask we all to show our ticket to them. they opened the door to let us go in. we sat down and wait for the show to start.
the show ended at 8.10pm we took the monorail back to vivo city and we took the train back.
i want to take the faster train home. so i alight at outram mrt , and took the train too boonlay with them. from boonlay they will pass jurong east mrt, then i will take the center train to marsiling. coz if i take the train from dhoby ghaut will be 1hr train home i don't want.
we walk along the way home, reached jurong east mrt i alighted and say goodbye to them.
Cartherine ask me to sms her a meaage to say whether i have reached home.
reached home already i sms her to say i have reached home already.
Shower and have my late dinner. after late dinner, i brush my teeth and go and sleep.
tired, whole day out.
they suppose to be at Boonlay mrt by 7am and they came late by 5mins. one of my work collegue went to the passenger service to meet us because my the other work collegue want to buy drinks and food to bring there. so we walk to the bus interchange where people sell food and drinks. got many stalls there. after we met her, she bought the drinks and food. afte buying we walk to the mrt to tap our mrt card on the machine and we took the escalator goin up to the train.

Physio Staff outing
2morow morning i goin out with my work collegues to sentosa. i have to sleep early so that 2morow i can wake up or else i will oversleep. my breakfast is bread with a cup of warm milo.
i wll be wearing short jean pants with a nice blouse. must bring my own water botter, cap and $$$$$$$$$. who will be goin to sentosa 2morow are : Carthy, Ginell, Aunty Lucy & myself.
i will meeting them at boonlay mrt station at 7am. so ealy wake up and cannot be late not even 1 min.
so i will take the train to boonlay mrt. will be waiting 4 them at the passenger service.
they will buy beehoon and other food for breakfast. i will bring potato chips if have at home.
after meet them we will take the train to outram and transfer to another train goin to harbourfront.
sentosa got the flower festival and tomorow last day many peopl will go there and see.
they will bring camera to take pixs.
we will there just in time to see flower festival, the time to see the flower festival is 9am after that we will see sounds of the sea n so on.
i have been to sentosa with them so many times except aunty lucy.
i will be enjoying with my work collegues, eat nice food and spent our wonderful sat there. no work 2morow. relax and enjoy.

finally i received one email from her and we just chat 1 hour ago on yahoo chat.
she is doin fine but she miss everybody here in sjh.
told her the latest news about wad is happening here in my workplace and asked me how are you and how is ur job etc.
long long time never hear from her. auntie lucy from the physio room told me she looked like my sister, but the auntie asked her why u so fast go back ? i forgot what she said.

Myannmar Friend
i got so many myannmar frens here. never work together but see them during lunch time at the staff lounge.
just a few minutes, she sent me a email, she wrote : '' how are you friend , long time no see.''
i replied. '' yes iam doing fine. yep long time no see.
i always stay in contact with her by email or msn conversations.
last time be4 she left, we talk at night using msn. sometimes i see her after work and she will tell me '' talk to you on msn 2nite.'' i said :'' ok.''

Red Packets
although cny is not over yet. but i still got some more angpows from the resident's. my workplace got one auntie who cook in the kitchen. she had an accident. so cannot walk. but now she walking again.
she helps in the kitchen, feed the resident's and help those who need help. after our break.
we had our usual bedside rounds with out physio supervisor
to see those resident's whether he or she comes in for her exercise and must review them again this month.
we view the aged rooms from A- P
then hospice rooms H1- H10.
finished our bedside rounds, we went for lunch.
today's lunch a few slices of pizza, duck, vegetables and white rice.
Uncle James the Volunteer called me n asked me auty patsy the cook gave me 1 red packet.
she gave me $10. i said '' thank you''.
during work about 4.30pm, i help them to write the resident's report on their own file.
write a few files only.
haven count my total red packets money.

Mahjong 2
went my cousin's house 4 dinner. reached there, rest 4 a while then had a warm cup of milo.
my cousin's elder sister fren came to have dinner also.
dinner was about to start, my grandmother had the raw fish or yusheng on the dining table. everybody in the family all get ready their chopsticks to say good n auspicious words when tossing the raw fish.
finished dinner, we continued our mahjong. we started at 8.48pm until 10.30pm so late. i won the last round coz banker win more.
i almost win in the 2nd round but my mother mix up the tiles so can't win.
we played mahjong , behind us must have one professional player who can help us see whether we got win.
i will improve my mahjong game by playing online.
i have enjoyed myself 2nite because got played mahjong.
past my sleeping time.
nw is already 11.35pm. goin to midnight soon.
better go now.

3 day of CNY
this morning went to work as usual. had all our afternoon activities for the elderly, sent them back to the dining area. then my nurse aid fren called me, she asked me : how are you ? i replied : ok iam fine.
i talk to her for a whle and i went back to to the physio gym n help my work collegurs to tidy up the place and i put the Ot toys on the long table.
after i put the the OT Toys on the table, we prepared to leave the physio gyn. I help my other work fren to push the old wheelchairs to one store room where they keep the wheelchairs there.
as i walking to the resident's dining hall i quickly walk to the restroom to change into my Cny clothes.
one of my work fren name ginell saw my beautiful CNY clothes, she said '' Wow so nice''.
i replied '' thanks''.
I punched my work card on the time machine. and i wait for my father and my mother at the guard house.
he came to pick me to go pai nien or collect more red packets.
in the night, my grandmother, cousin's parents came to my house for dinner. Iam goin to entertain them with cny goodies.

My Physio Work Collegue
This morning at 5.30am, my work collegue is goin back to her country. and she is not coming back. she was accompanied by her sjh frens. ginell, Sujee and other frens. i was still sleeping at that time. her flight is at 9am. today is the 2nd day of the lunar new year.
we enjoyed her company during work or our break time. she is a nice fren. before i came to sjh to work i never knew she would be my work collegue and we went out during our off days or after work we will go out and eat. sometimes we finish writing all the reports n keep back the files, she say faster so that we can go to the staff lounge and eat and drink.
is my pleasure knowing her. very cheerful , hardworking and smart.
monday i go back to work, 1 less person there at the physio gym means extra work for us.

CNY Day 2
This Morning had breakfast. after breakfast watch one english show called Air bud Strikes back on Ch 5.
watched finished the show. i went to take my bath and i change into my new year clothes.
about 11.55am we left the house and we went to my dad's cousin hse to collect angpows or red packet and chit chat with them about their daily life happenings.
before visiting another relative's hse. my father drove us to one petrol station and buy food.
we bought char siew pau and delifrance bread inside got fillings.
we left their place at 12.30pm, we need to go my uncle's hse. they stayed in condo. they live in Tanah Merah. the condo name is East Meadows. visit them , take some more red packets.
we sit there until 3pm.
after their house, we also went to my mother brother's house 4 lunch. my grandmother was resting at their hse, my elder sister and her husband came with our nephew.
after eating there, talk 4 a while until 5pm. they need to go to their grandmother house which is near their hse. 10 mins walk. venue of their grandmother hse.

so we left the house and we went my grandmother back to her sembawang house.
we came back at 6pm.

Year of the rat
HAPPY Chinese New Year to everybody,
last night i slept at 12.45am.
2day 1st day of CNY
some of my aunties and uncles are coming to our hse 4 lunch.
we prepared curry and other food.
after lunch, we chit chat 4 a while, some will contine to play mahjong.

every year must go there to celebrate.

lovely sunday
in the morning i went to church, after church went to the church basement to have a cup of tea from the coffee corner. had my tea and i put the cup into the box 4 them to wash. met some of my old church frens, talk to them for a while.
